Webtec awards two Arkwright Engineering Scholarships
Webtec, the St Ives, Cambridgeshire, based hydraulic measurement and control company has anounced it has awarded two Arkwright Engineering Scholarships to Arthur Cooke and Sam Burnell this year. Webtec says it has been a proud supporters since 2014 and the Roy Cuthbert Scholarship, which is part of the national scheme, was named after Webtec’s founder, a passionate engineer and entrepreneur who passed away in 2013.

Marine engineering company launches hydraulics training centre
Armada Engineering, a marine engineering company based in Falmouth in Cornwall, has launched the first training centre for hydraulics in the South West of England. The company has been approved as an accredited training centre by the British Fluid Power Association (BFPA), the UK trade association for the fluid power industry.
