Versatile crimper for extra-large fittings

18 September, 2024

Uniflex’s HM 465 is a versatile crimper for extra-large fittings. It is the successor of the company’s HM 450 and HM 480 and boasts a force capacity of 4000 kN / 400 t and a 380 mm opening, making it suitable for processing heavy or extra-large fittings and high-pressure hoses with a single machine. It features a master die length of 150 mm and an opening travel of +150 mm, enabling it to handle 8" ANSI flanges and up to 12" industrial pipe fittings without the need to change crimp dies.

Designed for high-pressure applications, the HM 465 offers exceptional crimping force and precision, meeting rigorous standards for processing high-pressure hose fittings and insulators. The unit is notably compact and energy-efficient, operating at just 5.5 kW, and incorporates a Hilo hydraulic system that allows for space-saving integration into the machine.

The crimper’s design includes the ability to press from both sides and a fixed 6 o'clock die position, enhancing ergonomic operation. Its clean slide bearing technology and robust construction contribute to its reputation as a valuable investment in the market. For optimal performance and functionality, the HM 465 is equipped with the latest IPC technology, ensuring users benefit from its advanced capabilities.
