Beko Technologies UK – developer, manufacturer and supplier of high-quality components for compressed air processing and condensate technology – officially opened its new building in Redditch on 13 April. The ribbon to mark the official opening of the building was cut by company owner Monique Abeels-Koch in the presence of the Beko Technologies team and guests.

Saskatchewan Uni lab manager wins Moog oldest operating servo valve contest
The Industrial Group of Moog Inc. declared Doug Bitner, manager for the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Engineering Fluid Power Lab, the winner of its contest to find the oldest operating Moog servo valve after he sent in a video showing lab equipment running with a Moog 21 Series servo valve manufactured in 1963. Moog launched the contest last September as part of a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Moog’s operations in Europe.
Apprenticeships pledge from engineering employers
More young people will be given the opportunity to ‘rise to the top’ with an apprenticeship, as 30,084 new apprenticeships were pledged by employers as part of National Apprenticeship Week 2016 last month (March).

NFPC 2016 Industry Open Day attracts record number of exhibitors and attendees
