Some years ago, the British Pump Manufacturers’ Association – the organisation which represents the interests of UK and Irish suppliers of liquid pumps - launched an initiative in e-learning for the pump industry. It was reportedly the first suite of truly independent pumping technology training.

A breath of fresh air as Southern Manufacturing returns for 2022
Southern Manufacturing & Electronics makes its eagerly awaited return to Farnborough from February 8th to 10th 2022. The show’s organisers report a strong uptake in stand reservations from firms eager to return to face-to-face business. Many of the show’s familiar names have already signed-up for 2022, bringing with them a wide selection of products and solutions, ranging from high-tech machine tools and automation to mechanical and electronics components, electronics production, business and subcontract services. BPMA associate membership expands
The British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA), which represents the business interests of UK and Irish suppliers of liquid pumps and pump related equipment, has announced it has further expanded its numbers with the addition of four new associate members, bringing the total roll call of ‘associates’ to fifteen.

2021 AEMT Awards winners announced
The Winners of the 2021 AEMT Awards were announced during a Gala Presentation Ceremony in Coventry on Thursday 18th November. Attended by some two hundred people from across the electrical and mechanical trades arena, the evening once again proved to be a wonderful evening of reward and celebration. Having been postponed from its original 2020 dateline due the pandemic, there was a great deal of anticipation ahead of the event with all attendees eager to reunite and re-engage with their colleague and peers.
