All-new MultiSystem 5070 – A major step forward in mobile hydraulic test and datalogging

21 November, 2019

Hydrotechnik UK has launched the all new MultiSystem 5070 datalogger, replacing the company’s 5060plus. The 5070 has been re-designed from the ground up and offers up to 42 channels and 8 high-speed inputs to record pressure, temperature, flow, RPM, position, force, voltage, current, oil condition and much more.

According to Hydrotechnik UK, the 5070 is ideal for testing, fault finding and developing mobile plant and industrial hydraulic equipment.

A larger colour LCD screen, more powerful processor, larger storage capacity and increased functionality will help current and new users extend its use. The 5070 offers two digital I/O channels enabling the user to link multiple instruments or trigger tests remotely. Two independent baud rate CANbus lines allow for up to 32 extra channels, either from CANopen sensors or J1939 CAN machine data.

The new 5070 allows connection of Hydrotechnik ISDS (auto set-up & linearising), third-party sensors and is claimed to be easily configured using standard various mA & Voltage signals as well as pulse & CANbus.

Powerful analysis software, HYDROcom6, is included with every 5070. This software enables the quick transfer of testing data to a PC. HYDROcom6 software allows engineers the ability to zoom in, overlay tests and create detailed annotated reports of system performance. Files can easily be swapped between users and is universal across all instruments in the MultiHandy & MultiSystem family.

The MultiSystem 5070 is available as an independent instrument or as a measuring kit with sensors included. Demand for more physical sensor inputs and advanced communication has led to the development of special versions of the 5070 with MultiXtend channel extender units built into larger portable test units with Bluetooth and 4G data transmission options.

Hydrotechnik UK specialises in hydraulic test and datalogging equipment. From Miminess test points and gauge kits through to sophisticated hydraulic test equipment Hydrotechnik has a test solution to suit all budgets and requirements. The 5070 is the most advanced handheld datalogger ever launched by Hydrotechnik.

 Key Features at a glance:

• Channel evolution – 8x high speed (up to 0.1ms) measurement channels. 2x selectable analogue or frequency channels allow more flexibility.

• CANbus – 2 baud rate independent CAN lines for increased CANbus sensor or system J1939 measurements.

• Measure more – 32 extra channels for CANbus, system J1939 or freely definable calculations.

• All in view – view up to 42 channels of data as graph, alphanumeric or display titles with easy viewing page.

• Increased memory – save up to 500 tests on 4GB SD card with up to 6,000,000 readings per test.

• Improved performance – improved processor and increased memory ensures faster operation, processing and download of measured data.

• Tough and responsive keypad for simple, positive operation in all environments with rubber shock case protection.

• Screenshot it – new screenshot button saves an instant picture of the measuring screen for easy sharing of settings.

• Supercharged – improved battery lasts up to 10 hours with all channels connected. Fully recharges in under 2 hours.

The MultiSystem 5070 is part of Hydrotechnik’s larger datalogger family, which have been aiding service engineers for over 25 years. Hydrotechnik supplies a high-quality range of instruments and sensors offering an effective solution for your high scanning, accuracy and testing needs.

Hydrotechnik will also be holding an open day to provide end users with a deeper insight into the 5070’s features. If you wish to visit, contact the company’s technical team on 0115 9003 550 or email sales@hydrotechnik.co.uk.
