All-new MultiSystem 5070 – A major step forward in mobile hydraulic test and datalogging

Hydrotechnik UK has launched the all new MultiSystem 5070 datalogger, replacing the company’s 5060plus. The 5070 has been re-designed from the ground up and offers up to 42 channels and 8 high-speed inputs to record pressure, temperature, flow, RPM, position, force, voltage, current, oil condition and much more.


According to Hydrotechnik UK, the 5070 is ideal for testing, fault finding and developing mobile plant and industrial hydraulic equipment.

A larger colour LCD screen, more powerful processor, larger storage capacity and increased functionality will help current and new users extend its use. The 5070 offers two digital I/O channels enabling the user to link multiple instruments or trigger tests remotely. Two independent baud rate CANbus lines allow for up to 32 extra channels, either from CANopen sensors or J1939 CAN machine data.

The new 5070 allows connection of Hydrotechnik ISDS (auto set-up & linearising), third-party sensors and is claimed to be easily configured using standard various mA & Voltage signals as well as pulse & CANbus.

Powerful analysis software, HYDROcom6, is included with every 5070. This software enables the quick transfer of testing data to a PC. HYDROcom6 software allows engineers the ability to zoom in, overlay tests and create detailed annotated reports of system performance. Files can easily be swapped between users and is universal across all instruments in the MultiHandy & MultiSystem family.

The MultiSystem 5070 is available as an independent instrument or as a measuring kit with sensors included. Demand for more physical sensor inputs and advanced communication has led to the development of special versions of the 5070 with MultiXtend channel extender units built into larger portable test units with Bluetooth and 4G data transmission options.
