Camozzi forms new C_Applications division

17 January, 2018

Camozzi is putting more than half a century of expertise behind the creation of its new C_Applications division.

The new division builds upon the company’s hugely successful panel and systems design/build services, with the creation of a dedicated department which will combine mechatronic components and systems to produce smart industrial automation solutions.

C_ Applications will integrate electronics, IT, electrics, proportional and pneumatic technologies in complex systems that can be customised; thereby offering intelligent, multi-technological solutions to both current customers and prospects.

Tangible cost-saving benefits

Through C_Applications, Camozzi aims to bring its customers tangible cost-saving benefits including improved productivity and reduced assembly and setup times for automatic machines.

Camozzi UK’s managing director, Adrian Farnham, said: “This development represents a huge investment for Camozzi and shows the company’s commitment to continuous improvement.

“We are mindful that every application presents different characteristics and challenges. By combining technologies for motion control with electronics and information technology, we can deliver reliability, flexibility, efficiency and added value to our clients.”

It is anticipated that users of the new C_Applications division will come from a wide variety of sectors; including packaging, food & beverage, plastics & rubber, life science, automotive, electronic systems, textile machinery, assembly & robotics, printing & paper and woodworking machinery.
