New service programmes to redefine compressor uptime

07 May, 2025

ELGi Compressors Europe, a subsidiary of Elgi Equipments, one of the world’s leading air compressor manufacturers, has announced new ELGi CARE Service Programmes.

The company says this comprehensive suite of five-year customer-centric service plans aims to ensure maximum uptime, reliability, and operational efficiency of compressed air systems. By integrating predictive maintenance, performance monitoring, and breakdown prevention, these programmes are designed to keep compressors operate at peak performance, minimising downtime and maximising productivity.

Roger Savo, Director of Aftermarket at ELGi Europe, commented: “With the launch of our new CARE Service Programmes, we are setting a new benchmark for compressor maintenance - smart, simple, and centred around our customers’ success. By eliminating uncertainty, reducing unexpected costs, and supporting long-term equipment performance, these programmes make service management easy and predictable. Combined with dependable support from our local channel partners, ELGi CARE gives our customers the peace of mind to focus on their business, not their equipment.”

ELGi CARE Service Programmes are available in three tiers: CARE, PremiumCARE, and PremiumCARE+ to meet varying customer needs. Each tier offers a range of features designed to provide convenience and reliability.

The three 5-year tiers include:

· CARE:

o Service kits and parts for ELGi compressors

o ELGi AiRLUBE, genuine lubrication for sustained performance

o Fixed annual payments to simplify budgeting and financial planning

· PremiumCARE:

o Includes all CARE features

o Adds bumper-to-bumper warranty coverage on every part of your ELGi compressor, ensuring comprehensive protection for the duration of the warranty period.

· PremiumCARE+:

o Includes all PremiumCARE features

o Adds an annual, automatically renewed subscription to ELGi Air~Alert smart diagnostics and predictive maintenance monitoring.

Thanks to intelligent, data-driven maintenance, end users can enjoy peace of mind as potential failures are predicted before they occur, reducing unplanned downtime and the costs associated with emergency repairs. Customers benefit from a more reliable compressor system that operates continuously with minimal interruptions. These programmes also support energy-efficient operations by optimising system performance, helping businesses lower their electricity bills while maintaining consistent compressed air quality and pressure. With fewer disruptions, enhanced reliability, and long-term cost savings, customers can focus on maximising productivity without worrying about unexpected service issues.

The benefits extend equally to ELGi’s Channel Partners, who gain valuable tools for smarter business planning. ELGi CARE Programmes enable them to precisely forecast demand, and improve stock optimisation, reducing the risks of overstock or stockouts, and streamlining inventory management.

“By offering proactive service recommendations and warranty planning, our Channel Partners can deliver a superior customer experience and build long-lasting relationships. Predictive analytics also provide a competitive edge, allowing them to anticipate customer needs and deliver tailored solutions that go beyond traditional support. This approach boosts customer satisfaction and strengthens partner positioning in a competitive market,” concluded Savo.
