New procurement apprentice for Polyhose UK

Serge recently graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a BSc in Economics. During his placement year, he completed an internship at McDonalds, where he honed his ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, collaborate with diverse teams, and deliver excellent customer service.

As part of his apprenticeship, Serge will complete his CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) qualification to deepen his procurement and supply chain management expertise. “We are looking forward to welcoming Serge and supporting him through his integration into Polyhose,” Managing Director Marc Whibley commented. “Serge brings the academic knowledge gained through his university degree, combined with valuable skills he gained during his internship at McDonalds, which shaped his approach to professionalism and problem-solving.

“As we open up our new warehousing facility next year to accommodate a wider range of products and increase the depth of our stock holding, Serge will play a pivotal role in our future development.”

Commenting on his appointment, Serge said: “I am thrilled to be joining such an innovative and dynamic organisation and eager to apply the knowledge and skills I developed during my studies and work experience.
