Only buy hose assemblies from a BFPA approved supplier
As a business, quality assurance and safety are a priority. Is your supplier a member of the British Fluid Power Association’s Hose Accreditation Scheme? And, most importantly, can they meet the following standards?
Quality assurance – your supplier can confirm that the hose assembly process they employ has been approved and independently audited by the BFPA.
Safety – your supplier is committed to producing hoses that meet the required safety standards laid down by the BFPA’s quality control procedures.
Safeguarding – your supplier is dedicated to having all their hose assembly technicians trained and in possession of the BFPA Hose Assembly Skills training certificate.
No re-ending or mix and matching – your supplier fully endorses and supports a zero tolerance towards the mixing and matching of non-compatible components in assemblies and the potentially dangerous practice of re-ending hoses.
A map and list of accredited suppliers can be found on the BFPA’s website (www.bfpa.co.uk) so check out your local area and read more about the benefits of our Approved Hose Assemblies Scheme.
