AirTAC European Headquarter continues to operate unphased by the pandemic

15 July, 2020

During this challenging period ATC Italia, the European headquarters of AirTAC International Group, reports that it has continued to have the full support of its mother company, enabling it to continue to respond quickly to customer orders and enquiries and to ship goods within a quick timeline throughout Europe.

Continuous supply

Since the beginning of COVID-19 crisis, ATC Italia has benefitted from a continuous supply of equipment manufactured in Taiwan, where the production facility continues to work at full capacity due to the professionalism of colleagues in Asia and Taiwan’s largely effective containment of the virus.

Mirko Pisciottano, sales director, explains that staff at ATC Italia have started working from home wherever possible in order to help to contain the spread of the virus. “This is a policy we put in place as early as the first week of March in order to maximise protection for our employees, while at the same time continue to provide an uninterrupted service to our customers,” he says. “AirTAC International Group has given its absolute priority during this period to staff within the organisation, demonstrating that people are our most precious asset. Also, our warehouse in Italy has expedited emergency orders, made available through careful prior collection. Of course, we are all operating in difficult times, but we know that by continuing to offer high-quality materials and parts (95% of which are made in-house) at very good prices we will continue to serve the market well while also securing our own long-term future as a company.

As well as continuing to supply equipment to its global subsidiaries, AirTAC International Group also shipped a high quantity of masks due to customer requests. “We see ourselves as a close partner of companies we support within the pneumatic automation marketplace and want to be able to help them however we can,” concludes Pisciottano.
