New safety valves and all-purpose ZE proportionals from Atos
Atos has launched safety valves supplied with electric on-off monitoring of the spool or poppet position indicating the valve’s hydraulic status. The valves are TÜV-certified in accordance with the safety requirements of Machine Directive 2006/42/EC.
They are available in two different execution:
• /FV with inductive position switch – reliable solution with double contact NO and NC
• /FI with inductive proximity sensor – compact & competitive solution with NO or NC contact
Atos range of safety valves includes:
• Directional control valves, sizes 6 to 25 – with single and double solenoids
• ISO 7368 cartridge valves, standard and active execution – sizes 16 to 100
• ISO 17209 screw in cartridge valves – sizes 3/4”-16UNF to 1 5/16”-12UNF
Max pressure 350bar, flow up to 5000 l/min.
Atos has also introduced new all-purpose ZE proportionals for open-loop electrohydraulic systems. Features include:
• Competitive price for high serial applications
• Threaded solenoid cURus certified
• ECP (Enhanced Corrosion Protection) to withstand > 200 h in salt spray
• Optional mobile connectors with IP67 protection
• Spools with linear, progressive or differential regulation
• Temperature range -20degC ÷ +70degC (-40degC ÷ +60degC for/BT low temperature execution)
• Sizes 06, 10 direct operated directional controls
• Size 06 direct operated pressure relief & reducing controls
Atos comments that its ZE proportionals perform best if coupled with E-MI-AS digital plug-in drivers with infrared software setting of bias, scale, dither and linearisation.
