Robust stopper cylinders from Camozzi

16 June, 2017

Camozzi has increased its range of pneumatic solutions with the introduction of Series ST Stopper Cylinders; developed to meet the changing needs and demands of users in conveyor line and product transportation systems.

Designed to comply with UNITOP and ISO 21287 standards, the compact and low-noise Series ST has self-tapping screws and is available in both single-acting and double-acting versions with rear spring, in 20, 32, 40 and 50mm bore sizes. Magnetic, roller and non-rotating rod variants are also an option.

Rod and bushing have been specifically enlarged to ensure high resistance to radial loads and shocks, thereby giving superior absorption of kinetic energy from impact. Combined with easy mounting, these factors make the Series ST an ideal choice for transportation and conveyor lines with a requirement to stop the transit of items and are particularly suited for use in packaging, automotive, conveying systems, assembly line and woodworking applications.

Piston position detection is enabled by means of proximity switches (Mod. CST or CSH) which are mounted in slots along three sides of the cylinder profile.
