H Crimp 110 portable hose crimper for the forestry market

25 October, 2016

Techmaflex, the French manufacturer of assembly machines, has developed a hose crimping solution specifically for use in the forestry industry.

Forestry machinery such as forwarders, skidders, harvesters and cranes rely on a number of hydraulic hoses. Facing a number of constraints due to the challenging environment in which they operate, the hoses need to be changed regularly. Many forest sites are not easily accessible, and so on-site maintenance is often undertaken using the resources of a mobile workshop, which can help to ensure ongoing high levels of productivity while keeping machines operational and reducing downtime.

Techmaflex’s Crimp 110 can crimp hoses up to 1’’ 4SP. It is also lightweight (21kg) and robust due to the protective wings surrounding the head.

The narrow head (220 x 222 x 240mm) delivers a 110-ton crimping force, combining a high level of flexibility with high power. A removable plate improves operator comfort and makes carrying easier.

Techmaflex’s Crimp 110 is available through a global distributors network.
