Camozzi keeps valve island assembly close to home

22 September, 2016

Fluid power giant Camozzi Pneumatics Ltd. continues to demonstrate its commitment to UK-based production and assembly with the announcement that it now has the capability to build valve islands from its Nuneaton base.

Multipole Valve Islands; including Series F & HN which are widely used across the food, automotive, medical, handling, process, robotics and a multitude of other industries, will now be available for next-day delivery, with online configuration tools available for customers to gain a better understanding of their workings prior to placing orders.

Cost efficiency

The Series F valve island offers cost-efficiency with 25 pin connection and up to 24 coils. This compact option is available in 2 sizes – 12mm and 14mm and saves time through its quick change capabilities, whilst an expandable solution can be achieved using simple tie rod adaptors.

Camozzi’s Series HN, its most robust valve island, is available in 10.5mm and 21mm variants with 24 coils (25 pins) or 32 coils (37 pins). Series HN is of modular construction allowing additional sub bases to be added with only 3 screws. This energy-saving unit with low consumption coils, is of aluminium and technopolymer construction for lightweight and space saving designs.

The new valve island service further enhances Camozzi’s impressive assembly capabilities, which already see it able to offer a 24hr standard turnaround on a wide range of standard and non-standard cylinders in any bore or stroke combination.

Camozzi is also able to provide a one- and four-hour cylinder build service for breakdown situations, effectively removing the restrictions imposed by many other manufacturers and keeping downtime to an absolute minimum.

Fine-tuned processes

Camozzi’s technical sales manager, Shaun Gerber, commented: “Camozzi has been perfecting its production for the last 30 years and over this time has fine-tuned its processes to provide customers with a service that is unrivalled across the fluid power industry.”
