Stauff UK and Spir Star sign exclusive deal

21 August, 2015

Stauff UK Ltd. and Spir Star have agreed an exclusive sales and distribution contract, for the rights to supply the Spir Star and Sami Instrument products into the UK and Ireland.

With Group Headquarters based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire and branches in Aberdeen, Ireland and Southampton, with full assembly and testing facilities, Spir Star sees Stauff as the ideal partner for assembly and distribution of its high-quality specialist range of products.

The two companies have held an agreement for several years and developed business into the Oil and Gas sectors though the Stauff Aberdeen outlet, led by general manager Scotland, Gary Stewart.

Ara Bozoghlian, general manager, Spirstar commented: “This arrangement has been proven to be extremely successful and we are keen to grow sales in many of the other sectors currently serviced by Stauff throughout the UK.”

John Morris, managing director, Stauff UK Ltd., added: “We have put a large investment both financially and in man-hours to ensure we can offer this product on the right levels and satisfy our customers’ requirements. This agreement is a stepping stone as we, as a partnership, have a vision to expand the range on offer to a wider audience”.

Both John Morris and Ara Bozoghlian echoed their thanks for the effort from both of the negotiating teams, with an excellent and mutually beneficial result.

Both companies will be exhibiting at the forthcoming Offshore Europe Conference and Exhibition in Aberdeen (8 to 11 September), showcasing many new and innovative products.
