Holmbury names David Morton Area Sales Manager
Holmbury has recently appointed David Morton as the new area sales manager for Scotland and the North of England. Starting his position in May, Morton brings extensive industry knowledge and experience to his role. His responsibilities include overseeing sales operations, developing new business opportunities, and strengthening existing partnerships within the region.
Morton began his career in engineering in the early 1980s, serving an apprenticeship as a Mechanical Engineer. Transitioning to sales after being influenced by a former colleague, Edward Wylie, Morton has since worked across various sectors, including refineries, hospitals, breweries, distilleries, and transportation. He finds motivation in sales engineering through customer interaction and problem-solving, a trait he believes aligns well with Holmbury’s capabilities.
