Reynolds Contamination Control has extended its global reach by partnering with sensor specialist Oil Advantage. The move combines the strengths of both companies. Crucially, it pairs Oil Advantages’s novel sensor technology with Reynolds Contamination Control’s The Link – a robust, cloud-based system designed for smaller, specialised customers. The package gives potential clients a real-time oil condition monitoring system.

Reynolds Contamination Control’s technical director, Wayne Hubball, says: “Combining The Link with Oil Advantage’s sensor capabilities means customers will benefit from comprehensive, end-to-end solutions for condition monitoring – from sensor, to installation, to making the data easy to understand through clear visualisation.”

Direct installation

Oil Advantage provides oil condition monitoring technology through two of its products – EngineWatch and MachineWatch. Both are robust, simple and cost-effective oil monitoring solutions – installing directly into an existing oil reservoir and eliminating the need for additional plumbing, pumps or maintenance.

Access to The Link – with no additional cellular or wi-fi connections involved – will enable the California-based company to support industries with data security concerns and help cut costs for clients. Oil Advantage’s head of operations. Siiri Hatakka (pictured), says: “With RCC’s industry experience and our technology, we can interpret condition monitoring data, with a direct cost saving to our clients. We only offer equipment when we know we can provide such savings.”

Local technical support

Reynolds Contamination Control will also be providing local technical support for clients using Oil Advantage sensor technology. Hatakka adds: “We were drawn to work with Wayne since we share his passion for solving customers’ problems and being totally customer focussed in the way we work.

Wayne’s expertise and industry experience makes us confident Reynolds Contamination Control is the right partner for Oil Advantage to provide excellent service and support to our customers.”
