MEASURE VACUUM FLOW RATES

18 November, 2020

MEASURE MONITOR CONTROL says monitoring vacuum demand and the level of vacuum achieved is key to efficient and reliable operation in vacuum handling systems but until now it has been difficult to do.

The company says its S418-V combines an accurate thermal mass flow sensor designed solely for vacuum flow measurement with an absolute pressure sensor, LED display and datalogger for continuous standalone or remote monitoring through 4-20mA, Modbus/RTU or M-Bus. Currently available in 4 sizes up to DN25, the S418-V can help to identify leakage losses through change in pressure and flow before vacuum failure occurs, to guide preventative maintenance.
