Watchlog range of wireless sensors launched by Hydrotechnik UK

09 November, 2020

Hydrotechnik UK has launched its Watchlog range of short-, medium- and long-range wireless sensors. The new wireless sensors have been designed for use with Hydrotechnik’s range of mobile apps and PC software as well as integration into current systems through various gateways. Three wireless ranges; Bluetooth up to 95m, wireless up to 1.6Km and Pro version up to 6Km, offer users genuine choice.

Watchlog Bluetooth (short range)

Watchlog Bluetooth is a new generation of short-range wireless pressure measurement, designed to work with iOS and Android mobile devices as well as iPads and Windows tablets. The powerful free App lets users create custom projects with customisable dashboards to display values and log data. Up to 12 transmitters at once can be monitored on one device or many devices up to 10 times per second and transmit over distances up to 90m, all powered from just 2 standard AA batteries.

The Watchlog app is available now for download on the App store and Google Play. A range of pressure sensors from (0..25 bar up to 0..700 bar) are available from stock. All Bluetooth transmitters broadcast their readings and can be read by a single device or multiple devices, as shown in the illustration.

Watchlog Wireless (medium range)

Watchlog Wireless is Hydrotechnik UK’s medium range (800m up to 1.6km) system for a wide variety of measurements including pressure, temperature, level and flow. There are various ways data can be viewed and received through a variety of base stations and gateways which can receive up to 60 wireless transmitters.

Hydrotechnik states that the free powerful PC software is the quickest and simplest way of viewing data with added alarms and logging capabilities. Alternatively, users can incorporate data into current systems using analogue output and Modbus gateways.

Watchlog Pro (long range)

Watchlog Pro and Pro Vision are Hydrotechnik UK’s long-range (up to 6km) or cloud-based system for any industrial sensor signal such as 4-20mA, Voltage, CANbus, Modbus etc. One receiver gateway can display readings from up to 60 connected sensors.

Monitor an assets CANbus as well as external sensors and transmit data to a PC/Wifi/GSM gateway to analyse performance over time. The Transmitters store data if the asset is out of range and sync data when next in contact with a gateway so there is no loss of data. Up to a month’s worth of data can be collected.

Alarms, logging and text or email alerts are all part of the powerful PC and cloud software that accompanies this range. Watchlog is available now.
