PPS expands its hire fleet with energy-saving Atlas Copco compressors

12 September, 2019

Turnkey compressed air specialist Pennine Pneumatic Services (PPS) has added some brand-new Atlas Copco compressors to its hire fleet to meet rising demand.

The award-winning Brighouse company has invested more than £100K this year alone in its hire fleet and now has three state-of-the-art machines to complement its already extensive range: a GA75VSD+FF, a GA110VSD+ and a GA90VSD+. These variable speed drive machines lead the way in energy efficiency, offering up to a 50% reduction on energy bills and delivering a more environmentally friendly profile.

The hire machines can be swiftly installed to cover emergency situations such as breakdowns, as part of the company’s genuine 24/7 emergency call-out offer, or as short-term support during planned shutdowns. They can also be used to boost capacity during busy times, for contingency planning or for research and development purposes.

Because of their upright design, smaller footprint and reduced weight, the new air compressors can be delivered by the company’s own transport, making the hire a speedier and more cost-effective option.

Managing director Ian Harrison said: “This expansion of our hire fleet shows our commitment to ensuring that our customers have the compressed air solutions they need, as and when they need them.”

The new air compressors can be hired on a short-term or long-term basis and the company’s experienced team will be able to recommend the best machine for the required application.
