BFPA builds on social media platforms
Earlier this year BFPA committed to more engagement on social media and the latest numbers indicate it has been very worthwhrthwhile. For several years the BFPA had a group on LinkedIn but hadn’t really made the most of its company page; that has all changed now and we are regularly posting on LinkedIn in both areas and are pleased to say that our engagement levels and followers have increased hugely since the beginning of the year. In January we also launched our two new Facebook pages for BFPA: BFPA Official and BFPA Training Academy which are also gathering pace and growing well. We had always been active on twitter but have stepped up efforts with our two company twitter accounts: BFPA Official and BFPA Training Academy which has paid off too.
BFPA’s social media strategy reflects our core business aims which are to represent and promote the UK fluid power industry (hydraulics and pneumatics) at national and international levels, add value to our members’ businesses, share information and best practice and of course to create, raise and maintain standards.
