Aventics once again ‘Preferred Supplier’ to Robert Bosch GmbH

08 October, 2018

Aventics belongs to the preferred suppliers of technology and service company Bosch. For the fourth time in a row, Bosch has awarded pneumatics specialist Aventics, headquartered in Laatzen, Germany, with “Preferred Supplier Status” in the material field of “Standardised Pneumatic Devices”.

The technology and service company grants the Preferred Supplier Status to suppliers that the company intends to cooperate with most intensely. The award was presented on August 8, 2018, at the Bosch plant in Waiblingen.

Aventics was awarded the prize for outstanding performance in collaboration with the Bosch Group. The pneumatics specialist has delivered an exceptionally competitive level of performance in the production and supply of products or services in a specific material field over an extended period. Malte Ihlenfeld, corporate lead buyer machine components & services at Bosch, and Patrick Eberwein, strategic purchasing at Bosch’s packaging technology division, presented the certificate to Dr. Peter Saffe, vice president strategic sales, and Dieter Michalkowski, global account manager at Aventics GmbH.

Growing together

“Awarding the Preferred Supplier Status emphasises the Bosch mission to rely on lasting supplier relationships and grow together with the best and most innovative of them,” said Ihlenfeld at the award ceremony. Peter Saffe, responsible for strategic sales at Aventics, added: “Bosch is a very important customer, and I am proud that we have received this award in 2015, 2016, 2017, and now again in 2018. This shows that we ensure consistently high-quality products and that we have the right business processes in play.”
