Guyson celebrates 80th anniversary
Guyson International Ltd, the UK Hansen & Gromelle quick-release coupling distributor, recently celebrated its 80th anniversary. The occasion was celebrated with a charity fund-raising cycle ride followed by an open day at the company’s head office.
The 30-mile route started at the site of the original office opened in 1938 in central Leeds. It then progressed to Guiseley, which is the current site of the Hose & Couplings Division, before finishing at the Surface Cleaning Division and head office at Skipton, North Yorkshire.
Guyson’s executive director, Steve Schofield, commented: “The whole day was a most enjoyable way to celebrate the company’s 80th anniversary, with the bike ride raising money for charity and nearly 200 people attending the open day.”
In addition to the anniversary milestone, the Hose & Couplings Division has also recently achieved ISO9001:2015 accreditation for its quality management system.
