27 March, 2018

Stauff UK has appointed Simon Bennett as general manager, Stauff-Voswinkel QRC Division. Bennett’s background is in machine tools; specifically the manufacture and maintenance of high precision grinding machines.

As a time-served mechanical engineer, he gained an HNC in Mechanical and Production Engineering. Since this time, he has been involved in the quick release couplings segment and for more than 18 years has acquired valuable knowledge and experience in the field, working for a number of renowned suppliers.

Born and bred in Yorkshire, East Kilbride in Scotland has been Bennett’s home for the past 25 years. Although only discovering the game within the past two years, he is a passionate golfer and also loves to engage in river and deep-sea fishing when time allows.

Bennett commented: “It’s a truly exciting time to join Stauff who are a premier global manufacturer of quick release couplings. I’m looking forward to bring my experience, commitment and passion to this expanding sector of industry for the company.”

Stauff UK and the global teams extend their best wishes to Bennett for his future working with the company.
