Gardner Denver upgrades F-Series range

Gardner Denver has upgraded its small CompAir F-Series refrigeration dryers, ensuring businesses reduce total cost of ownership while delivering the required standards of compressed air treatment.

Claimed to provide 25 per cent lower refrigerant charges than comparable ranges, the new F-Series models also offer dual frequencies, suitable for 50 and 60 Hz applications, plus an intelligent digital controller to provide an improved user interface. This features dew point level indication, a free voltage contact alarm, a service maintenance reminder and an integral timed drain control.

Available in flow rates from 0.4 to 10 m3/min, the range helps deliver assured levels of operational reliability and air quality, as well as minimise production costs through the series’ improved efficiencies.

Keith Atkinson, global product manager for downstream equipment at Gardner Denver, said: “When it comes to compressed air, operators traditionally focused on air quality and purchase price. Now, however, there is also more interest in the potential energy savings that could be realised from investing in a system that works more efficiently.”

Reduced operating costs

Atkinson continued: “Our updated CompAir F-Series utilise the very latest cooling technology, helping companies to reduce operating costs while maintaining the required levels of air purity. Developed around a state-of-the-art aluminum heat exchanger, the F-Series dryers feature separate air-to-air and air-to-refrigerant sections, a highly efficient stainless steel demister separator and a moisture collection chamber.

“Operating to environmentally friendly R134a refrigerant standards, the units take up minimum space due to their compact dimensions, while being easy to install, operate and maintain too. For those seeking a refrigerant dryer solution that can deliver guaranteed peace of mind, the CompAir F-Series could be the answer they are looking for.”

The current F-Series range also includes models that extend to flow rates of 12 to 180 m3/min, for those requiring a greater volume of compressed air.
