10-bar dust collector valves can take the pressure
IMI Precision Engineering, a world leader in fluid and motion control technologies, has expanded its IMI Buschjost dust collector valve portfolio to enable more efficient cleaning of filter systems through higher pressure surges.
IMI Precision Engineering has implemented a host of functional and practical benefits to its latest range of dust collector valves which can operate at pressures up to 10 bar. These provide improved cleaning capabilities due to stronger compressed air pulses, thus ensuring proper performance even in systems with large bag or cartridge filters. Moreover, the dust collector valves withstand design pressures up to 12 bar.
The robust IMI Buschjost dust collector valves are based on a high quality TPE-diaphragm, which has been modified to increase the compression strength to 10 bar, while the dust collector valves offer enhanced reliability due to removal of pressure springs. The valves also act as a cost-saving alternative, due to their reduced compressed air consumption and operating costs.
Hans-Joachim Beckmann, business development manager Air Pollution Control at IMI Precision Engineering, said: “By harnessing new technology, IMI Precision Engineering has been able to develop a broad range of dust collector valves that are tailored to the demands of various industries. These new additions and modifications enable users to further productivity as the equipment can cope with more demanding levels of work.”
IMI Precision Engineering is the new name for Norgren following a rebrand in early 2015, and continues to engineer great solutions for fluid and motion control through its portfolio of flagship product brands including IMI Norgren, IMI Buschjost, IMI FAS, IMI Herion and IMI Maxseal.
