Camozzi helps Parker Plant on the road to success

The Leicester based company has been sourcing its pneumatic products from Camozzi Pneumatics for well over a decade. Parker Plant purchasing manager, Danny McArthur, gives an insight into the strong working relationship the two companies have come to enjoy.

“Camozzi’s valves, cylinders and components are key to what we do and seldom a day goes by that we’re not placing an order,” says Danny. “What sets Camozzi apart is the attention they pay to customer service; for every question I ask, they always come back to me quickly with an answer.”

With customers as far afield as Russia, Africa, Afghanistan, Iraq and the far East, Parker Plant needs a reliable supplier who will not keep them waiting for crucial components. “Nine times out of ten the product I need will be on the shelf, and if my requirement is a non-standard part our key account manager, Tracy Bailey will guide it through the assembly process and ensure that it is dispatched as quickly as possible on a same or next-day delivery.

McArthur continues : “ Camozzi ‘s involvement in our projects often comes well before the component ordering stage and we frequently consult them and seek their advice when compiling drawings for a proposed product build. One example of this is a £9 million contract we’ve just completed for a large end user in which they played a crucial role. Having recently acquired a company in the US, our reliance on a smooth and predictable supply chain is now more important than ever.

“Aside from exemplary service and superior know how from a team of people who really know what they’re talking about, Camozzi’s pricing is also extremely competitive,” concludes McArthur. “I can’t imagine what more you could ask for in a supplier.”
