Survey to improve standards
If you are an end user of compressed air, how important to you is it that your maintenance provider uses genuine parts or that your equipment supplier outlines your health and safety and legal considerations?
To help answer these and other questions, BCAS is conducting the first ever UK survey of compressed air users to help further improve standards in the industry at www.bcas.org.uk/survey.
All of the respondents will be entered into a free prize for the chance to win an iPad Mini.
Says Vanda Jones, executive director for BCAS: “Compressed air can consume up to 30 per cent of a company’s total electricity bill, so its correct specification, maintenance and service is vital. It is also a heavily regulated area that end users need to be aware of, so getting the correct advice is vital.
“This survey takes a snapshot of how the compressed air industry is performing and more importantly highlights areas where we can collectively improve.”
