New BCAS website
BCAS has unveiled its new website, www.bcas.org.uk at Air-Tech. It aims to be the number one source of independent information for the compressed air industry.
Vanda Jones, executive director for BCAS, commented: “Compressed air is often known as the fourth utility. It is a vital resource for many diverse organisations across a wide range of applications.”
She continued: “For such an important resource it is vital for industry to have an independent source of information and advice and also a trade association that can represent the industry as far as legislation, standards and directives are concerned. BCAS is also the place to go to understand what constitutes best practice as far as installation and maintenance is concerned.
“The website is an extension of this advice and information. Manufacturers, maintenance providers and end users of compressed air can rely on it to keep up to date with what is changing and best practice.
“It allows end users to select compressed air suppliers and maintenance providers based on customer reviews via its Air-Rated service, in the confidence that BCAS members all adhere to the association’s standards. The site also features a training section, with a number of courses available through eLearning, a knowledge section and information about legislation and standards.”
Members of BCAS have a separate area on the website where they can access additional information and advice.
