The new RCT coupling from Reich-Kupplungen

Reich-Kupplungen has expanded its product portfolio with the addition of the RCT series, consisting of torsionally stiff flange couplings for diesel engine drive systems.

Based on the core competence in rubber flexible products, well-proven material pairings are also used for this new coupling type. The metal-elastomer combination not only imparts the RCT a high torsional stiffness but also effectively dampens shocks and peak torques. The system which is axially pluggable via the elastomer elements allows for easy mounting of the RCT coupling with no need for expensive alignment tools.

Apt as a connection to hydraulic pumps

The virtually backlash-free elastomer toothing is designed for high torque transmission while minimising the wear rate and preventing potential noise emissions. This coupling, when combined with a bellhousing flange that is matched to the specific mounting situation and also available from Reich-Kupplungen, is particularly apt as a connection to hydraulic pumps.

The RCT is claimed to be perfectly suited for use in construction and agricultural machinery with hydrostatic drives given that a long service life and high versatility are expected in these applications. The connecting flange is made of aluminium which offers a high mechanical strength and dimensional stability.

The RCT is available either with a clamping hub or with a backlash-free, splined taper bush. Owing to its very short length, it is particularly suited for narrow mounting spaces. The RCT can thus be flexibly matched to the existing mounting situation.

As is the case for all its other products, Reich-Kupplungen also offers optimal solutions on an RCT basis in line with the 'D2C' principle' for specific applications.
