Spiral guard system minimises costs and downtime

Exitflex has launched the Twisterflex spiral guard system designed and manufactured to protect hoses and cables from abrasion, without limiting the hose flexibility or bend radius of the hose assembly or installation.


Its hard-wearing, high-quality HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) is manufactured with smooth surfaces and rounded edges in order to prevent damage to hose assemblies or equipment during mounting and use. This cost-effective protective cover protects against shocks, abrasion and deteriorations which reduce equipment downtime and keeps maintenance costs to a minimum.

Twisterflex can be easily added to existing, or new, hydraulic, pneumatic or industrial assemblies without the use of any tools and comes in handy recyclable dispensing cartons or ease of use.

Twisterflex has been designed and produced to protect all types of hydraulic and pneumatic hoses and is suitable for use with glycol and phosphate products. Twisterflex can be found in use across many sectors such as: agricultural machinery, mining, plant machinery, offshore rigs, welding, forestry and automotive.

With outer diameter dimensions ranging from 11.5mm to 75.0mm Twisterflex can already be used for a wide variety of different purposes, protecting singular lines, bundles of hoses, cables and multi-lines helping to reduce the risk of injury by wrapping multiple hose and cables together. It is available in 50m and 20m lengths.
