Parker en route for Fluid Power & Systems and Drives & Controls 2016

12 June, 2015

Parker, the diversified manufacturer of motion and control technologies and systems, is the latest major signatory to confirm its attendance at the Fluid Power & Systems and Drives & Controls exhibitions, to be held at Birmingham’s NEC from 12 to 14 April 2016.

The company is set to showcase its latest generation of machine controllers and servo motion solutions at the event. Together, with the rest of its extensive range of automation products, machine builders and systems integrators can discover how Parker can help them to achieve higher dynamic performance and improved productivity for their customers.

State-of-the-art exhibition vehicle

The company’s show area will comprise its state-of-the-art UK-built exhibition vehicle, which will feature a series of display boards highlighting its latest range of automation solutions covering its pneumatic equipment, drives and electromechanical portfolio.

Ray Barnes, Parker’s UK industrial market sales manager, commented: “The combination of both highly relevant exhibitions at one event appealed to us because it enables us to demonstrate our multi-technology expertise across a range of automation technologies designed to address the engineering needs of OEMs, systems integrators and end-users alike.

Barnes continued: “While so far our exhibition vehicle has visited more than 50 European customer events, its presence at the Fluid Power & Systems and Drives & Controls exhibitions next year gives us the ideal opportunity to promote ourselves specifically within the UK market.”

Positive response

Parker enjoyed its first foray at Drives & Controls in 2012 where it had its UK launch of the new AC10 and AC30 Series Variable Speed Drives, during which it reported a very positive response from visitors. “Now that we have our exhibition vehicle which displays our entire automation product range, we decided this was the ideal time to once again sign-up for the show, as well as enjoy our first outing at Fluid Power and Systems.”

Parker’s exhibition vehicle is not constructed like a traditional closed-off exhibition vehicle, and is more of a mobile exhibition stand; it has an expansive large glass panelled area that comprises the whole of one side of the vehicle, and with nearly 50 sq.m the interior is spacious and air conditioned, making it a very convivial environment for visitors to survey the company’s products and speak to the on-hand experts about their particular solution requirements, whatever industry sector they work in.

Barnes concluded: “We’re very enthusiastic about the shows and look forward to meeting both new and existing customers next April to demonstrate how our huge automation offer can provide them with a real performance advantage.”
