Gym for Heroes – raising funds and awareness for Help for Heroes
Gym for Heroes, to be staged this year between 9-22 July, is a nationwide endurance challenge to be held in fitness centres and gyms raising money for Help for Heroes. If you have access to a facility such as a garrison, social club, prison or school, please take up the challenge; we can all help and do our bit to support our wounded service personnel.
This year’s challenge involves either 3 or 12 hours of activity. Either individuals or teams comprising a maximum of 4 people can take part.
New for 2011 is Junior Gym for Heroes, which aims to involve all school children of any age to encourage them to get fit and do their bit in aid of the nation's heroes. Please visit www.gymforheroes.co.uk for full details.
