RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT UNIT
CONCENTRIC AB reports it has appointed Paul Shepherd to head a new Advanced Research and Development Unit which will focus on innovation and emerging technologies in both the engine pump and hydraulics sectors in which the company operates.
Paul Shepherd will continue to be based in Concentric's plant in Birmingham, but will recruit the new team globally from the best talent both within the group and externally. The unit will operate worldwide, looking at new trends and technologies across the whole of the automotive sector and working face to face with customers to develop leading-edge products for a new generation of applications.
A graduate in engineering from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology Paul has been a senior member of Concentric's engineering team since 2005.
