Absolute Air & Gas launches own range of quiet compressors (June 2013)

24 June, 2013

Compressed air and gas specialist Absolute Air & Gas Ltd. has launched its own oil-lubricated and oil-free range of compressors, which has been developed in partnership with a leading European manufacturer of this technology. The range offers decibel ratings as low as 38 dB(A).

The company’s 12-model Silver-Line premium range of quiet, oil-lubricated and oil-free operate at 8 bar (with higher pressures and custom models available for OEM applications) and are available with outputs from 17 l/min to 300 l/min. The oil-free compressors are rated for continuous duty. Units are tank-mounted, available in 230v & 110v formats and are available with a choice of five internally-coated receiver tanks from 3.5 litres to 100 litres.

All Silver-Line models are fully-certified, come with a two-year warranty and are suitable for a variety of applications including instrument manufacturing, machine building, dental laboratories, garage LPG systems and security systems. The Absolute Silver-Line range is also available with optional adsorption dryers, condensate discharge valves, filtration units and silencers.

For applications requiring intermittent duty at an economic cost, Absolute Air & Gas’s Blue-Line compressor range offers six models – three oil-lubricated with an output of 50 l/min; and three oil-free with an output of 91 l/min. All models can be specified with receiver tank capacities from 3.5 litres to 24 litres. The Blue-Line range is fully-certified, available in 230v format and comes with a twelve month warranty.

Absolute Air & Gas’s managing director, Adrian Lee, commented: “These two new Absolute ranges have the potential to set new standards in performance, quality and reliability, and we intend to support them with similarly high standards of customer service.”

Both ranges are also available with N-PSL Nano ultra-high purity desiccant air dryers as an option. The Nano range is available with inlet flow rates from 5.1 to 40.8 Nm3/hr (3 to 24 scfm); a maximum working pressure of 16 barg (232 psig); and, thanks to a 50/60Hz dual-frequency power supply, are also suitable for worldwide applications.
