25 March, 2013

Variohm EuroSensor has increased its range of level and flow sensor solutions with a new range from Gentech, a division of the Measurement Specialities Group. The comprehensive range includes sensors in a wide choice of configuration styles, materials and temperature ratings; with UL and WRAS (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme, UK) approvals in AC and DC voltage ranges with typical switching power of around 30 watts.

Installation configuration for float and broken finger type liquid level sensors with simple on or off output from the desired control signal include top, bottom and side entry versions that suit use in water, chemicals, fuels, oils and organic solvents and more. A wide choice of housing materials is available to suit the media compatibility and ambient temperature requirements for normal use or extreme environments. These include fiberglass reinforced plastics, polypropylene, PPS (polyphenylene sulfide), acetal resin, nylon, brass, and stainless steel. Solid state versions are also available with voltage output.
The range includes inline flow switches for use in cooling systems, mains water control, central heating and other liquid flow monitoring applications as well as magnetic position sensors for door and safety locks, proximity indication and other simple position based sensing.
Variohm EuroSensor designs, manufactures and sources a comprehensive range of sensor technologies for linear and rotary position, load, force, vibration and temperature - providing complete pre-sale and post-sale application support for demanding measurement applications throughout industry, agriculture, construction, autosports and research.
