Eisele Inoxline easy to clean, inside and out (March 2013)

24 March, 2013

The Waiblingen-based company Eisele Pneumatics GmbH & Co. KG markets its stainless steel connections under the name Inoxline. The premium threaded connections of the 3800 series provide joint- or gap-free connections in media circuits where only minimal residue can be tolerated in the pipe system. They have been designed to allow safe and reliable internal cleaning of the lines by flushing before changing media.

The 3800 series is ideal for the food and pharmaceutical industries, since it is also suitable for internal sterilisation. Residue can accumulate in corners, edges and gaps of conventional hoses and pipes, where it is not easily removed during cleaning. In the handling of foods and pharmaceuticals and in the chemical industry, however, maximum hygiene is necessary, since even minimal mixing can make entire production batches unusable. In the case of microbiologically sensitive products, product residue can become a breeding ground for germs and the hose, including the connections, therefore becomes a source of contamination. Thanks to the joint-free design of the Inoxline 3800 it is not necessary to disassemble systems for cleaning.

The 3800 series allows very fast installation, since no special preparation of the hoses is necessary. The combined plug/turn mounting allows connection or disconnection with only one turn of the tool. Accidental opening by hand is nevertheless not possible, since the hose is securely fixed by a collet when the union nut is tightened. The handling and installation of this unique patented connection solution were further developed on the basis of many years of experience.

The use of hose connections is especially beneficial in circuits with many moving parts, such as filling systems, since the hoses are much more flexible than pipes. Fast connecting and disconnecting is also a major advantage in comparison with pipes and offers more flexibility within the system. The connection is insensitive to vibrations, since it has no moving parts when in closed condition.

The fittings are manufactured entirely of chlorine-resistant stainless steel 1.4404.
