New stainless steel fittings from Camozzi (August 2012)
Camozzi Pneumatics has expanded its range of super-rapid fittings with the launch of Series X6000 in AISI 316 stainless steel. Each fitting within the range is in compliance with both European and American (NSF/ ANSI 51) standards specifying their suitability for contact with solids or liquids.
The use of 316 stainless steel in each fitting ensures the range is resistant to corrosion, aggressive liquids and mechanical impacts and is therefore suitable for use in a wide range of applications in the food, packaging, paper, chemical, medical and process control sectors.
Many styles are available with 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12mm tube diameters and 1/8, 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 threads (BSP and BSPT). Series X6000 fittings can be used with many different types of tube including PA 6-12, Rilsan PA11, Polyethylene, Polyurethane and Polyester Hytrel.
The collet within each fitting ensures an excellent connection is maintained with the tube.
