BFPA update (June 2012)
NFPC CETOP Certification renewed
The National Fluid Power Centre in Worksop, which has been at the forefront of fluid power training in the UK for many years, had its CETOP certification renewed recently. The centre, which is well-known to many in the industry, has not only led the way on these shores but much of the work done in conjunction with the BFPA education and training committee, chaired by centre director John Savage, has been adopted as the European standard for training across Europe. The NFPC was re-audited according to the CETOP guidelines and the certificate was subsequently presented to John Savage recently by Ian Morris, director of the BFPA.

BFPA website finds people jobs
The Employment section of the BFPA website contains two very different sections; employers and those seeking employment or just a change of job. Although a small administrative charge is made to employers for placing a position advertisement, it is completely free for those seeking employment or simply a change of job. When putting your CV on the site anonymity is assured and all personal details are referenced to a box number. Now the big question, does it work? Well, if recent experience is anything to go by it most certainly does, and we have had success with many users of the site finding a new job.
For those who have not looked at this part of the website here is a link, give it a try: www.bfpa.co.uk/employment.asp
