Camozzi launches new valve islands (June 2012)

11 June, 2012

Camozzi’s range of valve islands has been expanded following the introduction of Series F (pictured) to provide an easily configurable, cost effective, lightweight and compact solution suitable for a wide variety of applications and sectors.

The design of Series F also enables assembly and testing activities to be carried out locally so that customer requirements can be met very quickly in terms of actual delivery time. The speed with which Series F can be configured is clearly demonstrated by Camozzi’s online configuration tool which is available in the product area on the Camozzi website (address below).

Reduced the power consumption
Each Series F valve island module has a 25 pin multi-pole electrical connection enabling from 2 to 24 valves to be mounted together. A complete range of valve functions are available initially with 2 body widths (12 and 14mm), which facilitate flow rates of 250Nl/min and 500Nl/min respectively. Higher flow rates will be possible with the planned introduction of additional valve sizes. A proven low watt (0.6W) pilot valve helps to minimise the power consumption of each valve island.

Strength and rigidity
Series F ensures maximum flexibility as each valve island can accommodate both positive and negative pressure zones. Strength and rigidity are provided by the tie-rod construction which also enables future expansion as valve slices can easily be added or removed. Installation work is simplified further by the direct or DIN rail mounting options and the fittings cartridges (4, 6 & 8mm) which can be configured to match the pipework requirements.
