PumpDrive from KSB is a variable speed control system that comes in a uniform housing design that can be mounted in three ways: motor mounted, wall mounted or cabinet mounted. PumpDrive allows quick, precise and continuously variable speed adjustment of a pump’s drive in line with demand. A sensor registers alterations, and pump performance is adjusted by changing the frequency. The company says that minimum flow stop and rotational speed optimisation to match demand means energy savings of up to 60% can be achieved. The speed control system can be used for pumps with ratings up to 45 kW.
