Bambi: big output, small footprint (Jan/Feb 2012)

30 January, 2012

Building on its success with the VT oil free range of low-noise air compressors, Bambi has developed a new 1.8kW version combining highly compact dimensions with what the company describes as a class leading air output.

With noise levels starting as low as 74 dB(A), these compressors can be sited near the working area without causing noise nuisance. The silent VTS version has just 55dB(A), so perfect for location at point of use or even in a quiet office.

The heart of the new VT250 range is a highly compact, 4 cylinder Vee arrangement pump unit. It is also 100 per cent oil free in design, smooth running, vibration free and offers a very high delivery for its physical size. This inspired format means the compressor’s size is small enough to allow integral location for OEM applications.

The internally coated air receiver protects against corrosion and each model is available with an optional twin tower air dryer ensuring hygienic quality air. According to Bambi, sales have already been established in applications as diverse as large format printing, autoclaves, packaging, pharmaceutical and laboratory, industries.
