BCAS developments with website and networking groups (Oct 2011)
Work is underway with stage one (of three) of the updates to the current BCAS website to incorporate new features identified by members.
Stage 1 will include General Design, Banner Advert statistics, an expanded About BCAS information section and links to the BCAS networking sites on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter added to the Home page.
Stage 2 will incorporate an extensive Photo area and insertion of relevant images on pages plus a new FAQs section that users can review questions and add new questions.
Stage 3 will tidy the Membership fee/benefits section, the Contact Us page will see some improvements and finally a Virtual Tour of the BCAS offices/meetings/Conferences and other events will be added.
The various BCAS managed networking groups on LinkedIn continue to grow both in numbers and discussion topics.
There is a closed group called BCAS for members only and now has more than 130 members contributing to various discussions and questions.
There is an open group for anyone involved in compressed air (Manufacturers, Suppliers, Distributors, End Users, researchers etc) called We Know Compressed Air and has nearly 1000 members from around the world engaged in many discussion topics.
In addition, BCAS is involved in several other compressed air related groups and regularly offer impartial and expert advice.
If you have not yet taken a look at these LinkedIn networking groups please do so as BCAS is confident that you will find them to be an interesting and useful forum.
