Bronze level achieved

WEBER-HYDRAULIK has announced it has been awarded the bronze medal in this year's Ecovadis assessment.


The company says this puts the group of companies in the top 35% of all companies assessed on this platform and the independent assessment underlines the clear progress made in the areas of the environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement - and confirms the Group's ongoing commitment to greater sustainability.

Compared to the previous assessment, the family-owned company with sites in Germany, Austria and Poland says it was able to significantly increase its overall score. Among other things, this was due to progress in sustainability reporting, uniform regulations throughout the Group and concrete measures such as the installation of a solar system at the Constance-Reichenau site and an energy-saving project in production in Güglingen.

"I am delighted with the improvement and the fact that we have now been awarded the bronze medal," says Anne Flaig, Sustainability Officer at the Group.

WEBER-HYDRAULIK the Ecovadis assessment is based on documented evidence of processes, guidelines, measures and results achieved in four key areas and the bronze award is a significant milestone and underlines its consistent path towards greater ecological and social responsibility.

"The bronze medal is not the end of our work for greater sustainability - on the contrary: it is an incentive for the next steps," Flaig continues. The next assessment is planned for 2026 - until then, the Group intends to develop and implement further measures at all locations.
