BFPA Welcomes New Members ISIS Fluid Control, Ross Pneumatrol and MGR Fluid Engineerin

2025 started well for the BFPA with three new members joining the association and more expected soon. BFPA’s Managing Director Chris Butcher visited each company to present them with their membership certificates.


Founded in 1991, new BFPA manufacturing member ISIS Fluid Control Limited has established a reputation for excellence and innovation in the supply of high-quality fluid and motion control products and systems. It’s strong focus on technical expertise and customer-led solutions has helped the company grow into a multi-divisional organisation serving a global customer base. ROSS Pneumatrol and ROSS UK Limited, new BFPA manufacturing members are prominent entities in the field of fluid power and safety solutions, each bringing decades of expertise and innovation to the industry. New BFPA Member Mike Retford of MGR Fluid Engineering is a Consultant member of the BFPA. He is an engineer backed by 30 years of experience of designing, building, installing, commissioning, and maintaining hydraulic systems. He holds an MSC in Fluid Systems and has been a Chartered Mechanical Engineer for 30 years. His fluid power career started in the Steel Industry in Port Talbot after which he worked for system manufacturers, solving machine problems, and designing new systems. He formed MGR Fluid Power in 2007 and had a great deal of success commissioning military vehicles and aero enginetest cells. He is now back in business as an independent consultant.

MGR Fluid Engineering offers the following services:

Design services – designing new systems or assisting with the certification of existing systems.

On site services – helping solve problems on new or existing hydraulic systems, providing reports and documentation to support the investigations.

Training – specifically aimed at customers systems on their sites.
