Lee Products’ NACE-compliant check valves handle high pressures (June 2011)

01 June, 2011

A new range of high pressure check valves that are compliant with NACE material standards (National Association of Corrosion Engineers), have been introduced by miniature component specialists Lee Products. The valves are constructed entirely from corrosion resistant materials that are compliant with NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 standards, so they are ideally suited for harsh duty applications.

Choice of 5 standard sizes
The valves are offered in a choice of 5 standard sizes (as small as .125” diameter) and feature a durable MP35N poppet and seat. They are designed for checked direction pressures up to 15,000 psid and are available in free flow forward and free flow reverse directions, with cracking pressures of 5±3 and 1+0.5 PSID. Sizes range from .125” up to .500” in diameter providing free flow Lohm rates from 400 down to 15 Lohms.
Each valve is 100 per cent tested and inspected to ensure a reliable and consistent performance which eliminates the need for additional in-house testing. Due to their design and materials of construction Lee’s NACE compliant check valves are said to be able to withstand the effects of challenging environments, for example in the oil tool industry.
