Roth Hydraulics is advancing its international strategy and reinforcing its global market position with the acquisition of US-based SFP Hydraulics, Inc., located in Houston, Texas. The Biedenkopf-Eckelshausen manufacturer of hydraulic accumulator systems is making significant strides in expanding its footprint in North America

Founded in 2014, SFP Hydraulics has established itself as a reputable supplier of bladder, piston, and diaphragm accumulators. The company has experienced robust growth since its inception. Christin Roth-Jäger, CEO of the Roth Industries Group -parent company of Roth Hydraulics - commented: "The expertise of SFP Hydraulics’ employees, coupled with the potential of the North American market, has led to positive expectations for the company's future." SFP Hydraulics actively sought to modify its ownership structure, recognising the need for a strong partner to support anticipated growth. Roth Hydraulics was quickly identified as the ideal choice. Frank Fuchs, Managing Director of Roth Hydraulics, noted: "As a market partner, we are well-acquainted with the company, its capabilities, and its management team. The synergy was apparent from the outset; both the Roth family business and SFP Hydraulics share similar values, visions, and convictions."

This merger offers mutual advantages for both entities. Roth Hydraulics’ product offerings will effectively complement SFP's existing portfolio. "Both companies are specialists in hydraulic accumulator systems. This merger positions us as a global partner for customers, with production and sales locations across the USA, China, and Germany," emphasised Frank Fuchs. "This strategic alignment will enhance our long-term competitiveness and create opportunities that will also benefit both the Houston and Biedenkopf-Eckelshausen sites."

SFP Hydraulics will maintain its brand identity and operate under its existing name and logo for the foreseeable future. Operational management will remain unchanged, with both companies being led by experienced and motivated managers committed to integrity. "With excellent management teams and promising prospects, we look forward to embarking on the next phase of our journey together," stated CEO Christin Roth-Jäger.
