Brammer Centre of Excellence hosts 1000th customer visit

08 November, 2009

Brammer has hosted the 1000th customer visit to its Centre of Excellence, by High Street bakery chain Greggs plc. Opened in October 2007 at Brammer’s National Distribution Centre in Wolverhampton, the centre is a 6000 sq ft learning and training facility, divided into three zones – learning, exhibition and workshop. It showcases product innovation from leading supply partners, together with working displays to illustrate Brammer’s capability in key areas such as improving energy efficiency in the manufacturing process.

Since its opening, the centre has hosted numerous customer seminars on key business issues, including Brammer’s energy saving seminar programme. It has also received visits from existing and potential customers keen to see first-hand the extent of Brammer’s product and service offering.

Ian Ritchie, managing director of Brammer, commented: “It hardly seems any time at all since the Centre of Excellence was officially opened – yet it has proved so worthwhile in providing a dedicated internal and external training facility as well as a means for us to demonstrate our capability to customers from all industry sectors.”

Ian Maitland and Chris Pallister from Greggs plc received a certificate to commemorate the occasion.
