Italian connector and sensor manufacturer CNE srl has recently completed the integration of its entire organisation with Atam Windings srl. Atam Windings is a leading Italian manufacturer of encapsulated electro magnetic solenoid coils and solenoid pilot valve assemblies. This merger has brought together two complimentary product ranges which are widely used in the global hydraulics, pneumatics and industrial valve markets.

All engineering, production, sales and marketing activities of Atam and CNE are now operating side by side from a modern 10,500 m² facility, which is conveniently located next to the A4 highway in Agrate Brianza, between Milan and Bergamo. This merger has brought with it new and substantial investments in injection moulding and test machines, significantly increasing the production capacity and also allowing a reduction in product lead times.

In addition further investments have been made in new mould tools for the production of the entire range of CNE over moulded solenoid valve and M12 sensor connectors with cable. The new range of over moulded CNE solenoid valve connectors with cable are all available now with fully over moulded and integrated self sealing gaskets and the connector fixing screws are also pre-assembled. Alongside the standard connectors with moulded cable there are also numerous options available with additional circuit functions which can include for example LED status indication, over voltage protection, as well as special circuits which are designed to satisfy the specific requirements of our customers.

These new over moulded solenoid valve and M12 sensor connectors with cable are available from stock a wide range of PVC and PUR cables. Atam and CNE also incorporate a wide range of special cable types requested by customers. Continued investments by Atam and CNE in new products and production techniques are already underway and others are planned to follow.
